Can composite veneers fix a smile after a root canal?

Often, yes. If a treated tooth looks darker or the shape no longer matches, composite veneers can reshape and recolour it with very little drilling. A very dark tooth may need a crown or porcelain veneer instead.

Can a crown be made the same day?

In many cases, yes. The tooth is scanned, the crown is designed on screen with you, then milled and finished in the clinic's own lab, so a single crown can often be fitted in about 2 hours.

Is laughing gas safe for nervous patients and children?

Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is a mild sedative breathed through a small nose mask. It helps you relax while you stay awake, and its effect wears off within minutes after the mask is removed.

Are root canals painful?

With local anaesthesia, a root canal should feel much like a filling. Most of the pain people remember comes from the infection before treatment, not from the treatment itself.

What is dental air polishing?

Air polishing removes stains and plaque with a fine jet of air, water and a gentle powder. It is quicker and more comfortable than scraping alone and is often added to a scaling and cleaning visit.
